Dean Peter’s life as an industrial welder and Skidmore area farmer is reflected in his love of collecting antique tools. Peter, who died last year at 83, had worked on such mammoth projects as the Brownsville Nuclear Plant, Northwest Missouri State’s high rise dorms and Maryville’s St. Francis Hospital, but once retirement years came, his energies turned to attending auctions, many that his auctioneer - nephew, Kermit Goslee, called.
